Yoga, Pilates and Wellbeing

It’s time to fall in love with taking care of your body, mind & soul

Sass Studio is a safe, welcoming and down-to-earth space where you can explore yoga, Pilates, movement and wellness — whatever your age, ability or life experience.

Our aim is simple: to bring the benefits of movement and mindful living into real, everyday lives. We’re here to help you feel stronger, move better, and find a calmer, happier mind — support that goes far beyond the studio walls.

Whether you’re curious about yoga philosophy or prefer practical, movement-based classes, you’ll find something on our timetable for every body — and everybody. Alongside weekly classes, we also offer short courses, workshops, retreats, workplace wellbeing sessions and bespoke group or 1:1 classes, so there are lots of ways to get involved.

Our teachers are passionate, down-to-earth and genuinely great company — which makes showing up, learning and coming back something to look forward to. And whether it’s your first class or your thousandth, you’ll find a community that’s accepting, authentic and kind.

Here, ego is left at the door. We show up as humans — imperfect, evolving and real — carrying whatever life hands us. In doing so, we create a space where everyone belongs. Come exactly as you are, and know you’ll be welcomed, held and embraced as part of the family.

Scroll down to explore our classes and see what’s on this week. We’d love to move with you.

  • Monday

    9.30-10.30am | Monday Morning Movement | Kate/Katy

Start your week with a class designed to help you move well, breathe deeply, and build strength and resilience—both physically and mentally. Taught on alternate weeks by Kate and Katy, this class blends intelligent, science-backed movement with breathwork and meditation to support your body and mind.

Kate’s Movement for Life approach focuses on strength, flexibility, and joint health, while Katy’s Embodied Yoga emphasises mindful, flowing movement and breath connection. Both styles encourage ease, balance, and vitality in a supportive space.

No experience needed—just movement that feels good and sets you up for the week ahead.

    6-7pm | Pilates for Life | Kate/Leanne

Slow doesn’t mean easy. It means powerful.

Taught on alternate weeks by Kate and Leanne, Pilates for Life is a deeply nourishing practice designed to build strength, control, and vitality—at a pace your body can truly absorb.

In Pilates, slow is strong. Why? Because moving slowly challenges your stability, enhances neuromuscular control, and helps build lasting strength from the inside out. It’s how we cultivate precision, reduce injury risk, and make lasting changes to posture and mobility.

With every controlled breath, every deliberate hold, you’re not just working out—you’re reprogramming your body for longevity, resilience, and radical self-respect.

Whether you're 18 or 80 - this is the Pilates you should be practising. Suitable for all levels.

    7.30-8.45pm | Embodied Yoga Woman | Katy

This women-only embodied movement class is a space for all women — however you identify within womanhood — to come as you are. We’ll show up for ourselves and each other with kindness, encouragement, and the freedom to rest whenever it’s needed. Think of it as a circle of quiet cheerleaders, here to support one another through movement, breath, and stillness. Pregnant women are warmly welcomed and the 6-week, post-birth check up.

Expect a blend of breath-led flow, joint freedom, strength-building, balance exploration, and spaciousness through the spine and torso — all supporting a more balanced nervous system. You'll be guided in ways that invite calm, steadiness, and a deeper sense of safety in your body.

This 75-minute extended class is a chance to slow down, recharge, and reconnect — in a warm and welcoming space held for women, by women.

FAQs

  • Yes! In fact you are a perfect candidate! Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking you need to be able to play piano in order to take piano lessons. Come as you are and you will find that a class will help you become more flexible. This newfound agility will be balanced by strength, coordination as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall wellbeing.

  • Firstly, welcome! You’re in good hands with all of our teachers and we love helping new Yogis start on their journey. Our class descriptions detail whether the class is suitable for beginners or not, but we often find beginners in all classes across the timetable!

We recommend you choose a class that excites you and fits in with your schedule, then just come and give it a go! All of our teachers are super-welcoming and will encourage you to move at your own pace whilst listening to your body. If, at any point you wish to take a break or pause - do it! It’s your class and we want you to get the most out of it.

We also host 4-6 week ‘beginners courses,’ specifically aimed at those people who have never stepped on a mat before. Keep your eyes peeled on our workshops page for more information.

  • All classes can be booked at https://gymcatch.com/app/provider/5520/.

Register on the website, choose a class, book and pay online.

You can also download the MomoYoga app to book and pay online.

All classes must be booked and paid for in advance.

  • Single studio classes are £8.50, unless otherwise stated on the timetable.

You can purchase a 5 class pass for £40 or a 10 class pass for £75 and these do not have to be booked as a block. 5-class passes are valid for 3 months and 10-class passes are valid for 6 months. Passes cannot be reimbursed or transferred.

Online classes are £7.50 per household or £30 for 5.

All classes must be booked and paid for in advance at www.momoyoga.com/sasswellbeing

  • You can cancel your class on your account up to one hour before the start time.

There’s a 24-hour cancellation policy for all classes. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, we will not be able to issue a refund or transfer for your class unless we can fill the space.

  • Just bring yourself, in appropriate clothing (see below), and maybe a small bottle of water. If you like to use your own mat and props, feel free to bring them too but we have plenty available.

  • Some people wear baggy, loose fitting bottoms or shorts and a t shirt. Other people wear tight, stretchy leggings + a top. The only thing that matters is that you wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and stretch in. It's good to have clothes that keep you cool when you are active in yoga, but bring a jumper for relaxation, when the body rapidly cools down. Some people also bring socks and maybe even a blanket for relaxation.

  • Ideally, please arrive a few minutes before the class starts to settle in and prepare. We understand things happen, and sometimes people are late; quietly enter the class so as not to disturb others.

If the coffee house is not open when a class is taking place, it’s highly likely the front door will be locked and access at this time will be unavailable.

The front door is locked a couple of minutes before a class begins promptly so please leave plenty of time to get here, park and roll out your mat.

If you miss a class due to lateness, no refund will be given.

  • When it comes to food and digestion, everyone is different and so there’s no straight answer for this. In general, it’s not recommend eating a large meal within 2 hours of the class start time - if you must eat within 2 hours, then a light meal or snack that is easily digested is best. It’s recommended to be hydrated before a class so drink some water.

  • Congratulations! If you are new to yoga your only option is to attend our pregnancy yoga courses/workshops; start dates vary for the courses so, please check the class schedule for upcoming sessions.

If you are a seasoned Yogi, or have done Yoga previously whilst pregnant, please speak to the relevant teacher before booking on to other weekly classes on the timetable.
