Membership & Pricing FAQs
Why have you introduced memberships?
Because we see, time and time again, that the people who feel the biggest benefits from our classes are the ones who practise consistently. Memberships are designed to support regular practice, build rhythm, and make wellbeing a steady part of life — rather than something we dip into occasionally.
Can I still attend single classes?
Yes. Single classes are still available for flexibility and occasional drop-ins. Memberships simply offer better value and more support for those who want to practise regularly.
Why has the single class price increased?
The single class price reflects the true value of the class experience. Full transparency - Studio prices haven’t increased since we opened (nor for years when Kate was teaching in a church hall!); but our running costs have - and continue to do so. Everything from rent and heating to cleaning products, props and maintenance and our priority is to ensure the studio remains sustainable for the long term. Memberships are intentionally designed to reward consistency and commitment, which is where we see the most meaningful and lasting change.
What’s the difference between a membership and a class pass?
A class pass offers flexibility without a monthly commitment (10 class pass is valid for 4 months). Memberships offer better value per class and are designed to support routine, accountability, and long-term progress through regular practice.
Why is consistency such a focus?
Because consistency creates change. Not intensity. Not motivation. Regular movement and mindful practice support strength, mobility, stress regulation, and overall wellbeing far more effectively when done steadily over time. Our founding members are proof of that.
Is there a minimum commitment for memberships?
Yes. All memberships have a 3-month minimum commitment. This helps support habit-building and allows enough time for the benefits of regular practice to be felt.
Can I pause my membership?
Pauses may be considered for medical reasons on a case-by-case basis. If you’re unsure or need support, we encourage you to get in touch.
What’s included with memberships?
All memberships include selected discounted workshops, and the Thriving membership also includes 10% off drinks in the coffee house.
Which membership should I choose?
The best membership is the one that realistically fits your life. Consider how often you want to practise and what level of structure supports you best. If you’re unsure, you’re always welcome to contact us — we’re happy to help you decide.
Do memberships auto-renew after the minimum term?
Yes, memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis after the initial commitment unless you choose to cancel in line with the terms (14 days notice to cancel after 3 months.)
Is this about pushing people into memberships?
No. It’s about clarity and support. Drop-in classes remain available, but memberships better reflect how wellbeing works — through regular, ongoing practice rather than one-off sessions. Our new pricing structure has been planned meticulously for months and this really aligns with our objectives to build a sustainable studio and a community that’s truly committed to this practice and becoming better humans.
A final note
You don’t need to practise perfectly.
You don’t need to do more.
You just need to keep returning.
Consistency creates change.
